Let me start by saying that I am aghast at how long it has been since I last posted to my blog! My only excuse is that I have been having too much fun with my family. Alas, I am going to go back to the beginning of Summer and try to recap a little of our happenings for you all to enjoy starting with my husband and daughters first date!

We had spent the day in Temecula to visit with family from TX and San Fran, so we were late in getting back to the South Bay for this big date. Hurriedly I did Grace's hair while Rob got dressed and we took some photos in the front yard.

Gracelyn was so proud. Honestly, she never looked more like a princess. When she and daddy got to the church and she saw all of her friends dressed up and dancing, I know she must have thought she had finally found heaven.

She danced some with daddy but as the night progressed, the fathers were allowed to watch as all the girls held hands with each other and danced their hearts away with giggles and smiles.

On the way home, Rob took Grace to 31 Flavors and bought her a chocolate cone. She proceeded to eat it entirely! I couldn't have been more happy to see her when they came home. She was giddy with excitment and self worth. She was glowing from the inside out. When I asked her to tell me all about her date with daddy, she summed it up quite nicely...

"MY DADDY...MY PRINCE."
